This Nouveau Craftsman home was a dream-come-true project. Building this artsy home ran the gamut of building issues from sublime craftsmanship to difficult site logistics.
The exterior of the house boasts a playful flow of dissimilar finishes. Fun to build; difficult to integrate. Not only are the exterior finish and architectural details intricate but the house design moves from a one-story front to a three- story back. It was like assembling a jig-saw puzzle. Our craftsmen rose to the challenge and seamlessly blended everything to the great satisfaction of the owner.
There was only one way into the house site perched on a steep hillside; no alley or side roads to move our machinery, trucks, and materials. Our experienced project managers employed careful Phasing to keep the project moving forward, not stuck in the driveway. Rosewood, conscious of the building impact on this tight street, communicated individually with the neighbors helping maintain a friendly presence during the construction process.
Our value engineering expertise was put to a test resulting in an economical execution of an intricate design. Our company adheres to billing and material transparency. All materials down to the smallest nail are accounted for and documented in our billing system. Our clients was able to see exactly how their well earned money was spent.
Our close working relationship with the owner and building expertise resulted in a labor-of-love project for everyone involved.
